​I'm Kira! Owner and hairstylist behind pärla.

I love weddings, I love hair, and I love going above and beyond.  I also love when you laugh so hard that your voice gets all high pitched and you can't catch your breath.

I've been in the industry since 2013 and have  worked with some amazing people in Ottawa and around the world.  I specialize in bridal hair and special event styling and I like to describe my style as 'elegantly undone'.  Think bohemian, effortless, textured,  secured but not too tight.

Styling hair is my passion and I continue to seek out educational opportunities that keep me up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.  I'll be heading to the land of Oprah, Kanye, and deep dish pizza this April to take part in a bridal hairstyling course taught by two of the industry's leading professionals!
